Have you ever met someone who just gets you? They think in similar patterns, have similar strengths, and speak a similar language. That is what happened when I met Chelsea Epp. At the time, Chelsea was a Marketing Director, and we both joined our church's Communications Team. Along with a few other awesome communications ladies, we set out to serve our church through our professional strengths.
Chelsea and I just gelled. Although our professions were similar, we found that we excelled in different areas. So when she branched out to start her own business, Epp Lodge Creative, I very quickly hired her to create a promotional video for my regular job. I had this idea stuck in my head for a few years, and I knew with Chelsea's video expertise, we could bring it to life. Over the course of a school year, we created an awesome promo video for our schools.

Sometimes, as a creative, you can't get the wheels going on a project. After a year of ELC, Chelsea was struggling to bring the Epp Lodge website to life, so she asked me to take over. I was thrilled! Creating a website for a business in "my world" was going to be a blast, and it definitely was. It also spoke immense value to my heart when a strong communications professional entrusted such an important communication element of their business baby to me.
Design-wise, this one was a challenge because "Epp Lodge" refers to her cabin home in a beautiful forest, so I wanted to connect to that element of nature. At the same time, Chelsea loves color, and her work is full of life. Marrying the two concepts took some finessing, but overall, I'm delighted with how they came together.
